Admission is $5 for all seats, and free for members of the Detroit Institute of Arts. Tickets may be purchased on-line through the DIA website. Pick up tickets at the Will Call office at the DIA.
The Detroit Film Theatre is located within the Detroit Institute of Arts at 5200 Woodward Avenue, in Detroit, Michigan. Directions to the DIA are available on the museum’s website.
Parking is available in a number of locations near the DIA. The Cultural Center Lot offers secure self-parking on John R. Street, directly behind the museum, for a cost of $5 daily. Other self-parking locations at Wayne State University include the Welcome Center, Structure #8, Visitor Lot #59, and Lot #35. Valet parking is available at the Farnsworth Street entrance during museum hours. More information about parking may be found on the DIA website.
In The Lost One: A Life of Peter Lorre, Lorre biographer Stephen Youngkin details the making of M, including the remembrances of people who worked on the film or visited the set, such as Peter’s brother Andrew. A remastered version of M is available on DVD and Blu-ray from Criterion, including the French-language version and the long-lost English-language version.
