One of our members is Jim Bigwood, who co-authored "The Films of Peter Lorre" with Ray cabana and Stephen Youngkin. Jim would be your best bet for finding out about the locations of these movies.Cheryl Morrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06731086831421369044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21161704.post-5346651824051621342022-05-24T16:57:06.472-04:002022-05-24T16:57:06.472-04:00Hello again!

I received this response from the Royal Film Archive of Belgium: "Unfortunately, we do not hold any digital copy of this film, so I am afraid we cannot help you with your request."<br /><br />So here's where I have stopped, being stumped. It's an informative look at how much European émigrés heavily influenced the development of cinema during the Golden Age period. Highlights include their contribution to the comedy and film noir genres, as well as how the impact of Nazi Germany and later The House Committee on Un-American Activities affected their lives. There's a large section on Casablanca and it was really cool to see some costumes and props from the film. I was also REALLY excited to see Peter Lorre's original immigration papers on display!!! Lastly, it was also great to see 'The Lost One' available in the gift shop ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10112517582446327319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21161704.post-41926269936951042452014-07-05T20:10:59.304-04:002014-07-05T20:10:59.304-04:00Ah, please do pass on my thanks to Mr. Youngkin! I just today published a post about that same movie at my own blog, <a href="http://silverinahaystack.wordpress.com/" rel="nofollow">Silver in a Haystack</a>. Except for Lorre himself, the main reason why I like the Mr. Moto films is the connection with jiujitsu (which I practice).
