Gettysburg Classic Fest Cancelled

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the historic Majestic Theater, located in downtown Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, has cancelled their classic film festival “95 Years of Majestic Movies”, originally scheduled for November and December, 2020.

Casablanca (1942) was to be shown Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6.

Patrons who bought movie tickets in advance will be contacted by the Box Office to process refunds.

For more information, please call the Majestic at (717) 337-8200.

The Majestic Theater is located at 25 Carlisle Street in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Metered parking is available on the street in front of the theater, with a parking garage located in Race Horse Alley, directly behind the theater.

Opening in 1925, the historic Majestic Theater has shown Peter Lorre films from the 1930s onward, as well as during its annual classic film festivals, held every summer. Here’s hoping the Majestic will be able to return to its regular schedule in 2021!
