Merry Christmas from Peter Lorre and SiriusXM!

In his long radio, movie, and television career, Peter Lorre appeared in only one Christmas-themed program – an episode of Suspense called “Back for Christmas”, adapted from a short story by John Collier.

And in the final days of 2025, Radio Classics channel host Greg Bell will air “Back for Christmas” during a week of Christmas-themed old-time radio shows.

From Monday, December 22 to Sunday, December 28, Peter Lorre’s Suspense episode will air as part of a 2-hour block of Yuletide dramas, including ~
  • Dark Fantasy, “House of Bread” (December 26, 1941)
  • Suspense, “Back For Christmas” (December 23, 1943)
  • Mysterious Traveler, “Christmas Story” (December 25, 1951)
  • Romance of the Ranchos, “Christmas at Mission San Gabriel” (December 24, 1941)
The block will air these dates and times ~

Tuesday, December 23 ~
1 am Pacific, 4 am Eastern

Thursday, December 25 ~
3 pm Pacific, 6 pm Eastern

Sunday, December 28 ~
3 am Pacific, 6 am Eastern
