Old-Time Radio Series Airs Lorre Episode

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, Lorre fans can turn back time to the summer of 1947 when the syndicated old-time radio series When Radio Was airs an episode of Peter’s series Mystery in the Air.

Host Greg Bell will present Mystery in the Air, “The Queen of Spades” (September 11, 1947), followed by Chandu the Magician, “Betty and Bob Disappear” (July 27, 1948).

On the satellite radio service SiriusXM, this edition of When Radio Was will air over the Radio Classics channel, channel 148, at 12 noon Eastern Standard Time, and 9 am Pacific.

Many local radio stations throughout the United States also air When Radio Was.
