In July, Peter's fans can enjoy many Lorre movies on the Turner Classic Movies channel, as well as other channels.
July 1 (Wed), 2 am, TCM – Casablanca (1942). The prime-time theme is "WB Songs in Looney Tunes". The WWII classic Casablanca is preceded by the cartoon "Hare Force" (1944), in which Bugs Bunny hums "As Time Goes By", while roasting a carrot over a fire in a fireplace.
July 4 (Sat), 8 pm, MeTV – Invisible Agent (1942). Horror host Svengoolie presents this WWII entry in the Invisible Man series from Universal Studios.
July 6 (Mon), 3:45 am, TCM – Muscle Beach Party (1964). TCM's "Star of the Month" in July is "Singers as Stars" with a series of movies starring various singers – including this entry in the popular "Beach Party" series with Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon.
July 7 (Tues), 1 am, Silver Screen Classics channel – The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934).

July 18 (Sat), 7:45 pm, TCM – The Cross of Lorraine (1943). The weekend line-up of feature films includes this MGM drama about French soldiers tricked into surrender and imprisoned in a Nazi-run camp in Germany.
July 18 (Sat), 8 pm, Movies! Network – Around the World in 80 Days (1956).
July 19 (Sun), 4 pm, TCM – Silk Stockings (1957). Peter Lorre sings and dances in this MGM musical starring Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse.
July 20 (Mon), 8 am, TCM – They Met in Bombay (1941). TCM salutes director Clarence Brown with a morning and afternoon of movies Brown has directed, including this adventure film starring Clark Gable and Rosalind Russell.
July 23 (Thurs), 6:30 pm, TCM – Mad Love (1935). The daytime theme is "Men or Monsters?" with a morning and afternoon of horror films, including Peter Lorre's first American movie Note: In Canada, Stranger on the Third Floor (1940) will be shown instead.
July 29 (Wed), 3:15 pm, TCM – The Maltese Falcon (1941). The daytime theme is "Classic Cult Movies" with a morning and afternoon of classic films, including this hard-boiled detective film about the fabulous statuette and the nefarious characters seeking it.

In August, the Turner Classic Movies channel presents the annual "Summer Under the Stars" festival – day devoted to an actor or actress.
Aug 2 (Sun), 12 noon, TCM – Casablanca (1942). Sunday is "Humphrey Bogart Day", including two of the five movies Bogie made with Peter Lorre.
Aug 2 (Sun), 2 pm, TCM – Beat the Devil (1953). "Humphrey Bogart Day" continues with this comedy about characters in search of uranium in Africa.
