Black Angel will be shown at 7 pm on Saturday, September 5, presented by Eddie Muller, the “Czar of Noir” and host of Turner Classic Movies channel “Noir Alley”.
Tickets are $15 for General Admission; $14 for seniors, age 65 and older; and $12 for Music Box Theatre members. Tickets may be purchased at the cinema box office. Tickets may also be purchased through the Music Box website. A nominal fee will be added to each ticket purchased online.
A festival pass is also available – $150 for general admission, and $120 for Music Box members.
The Music Box Theatre is located at 3733 N. Southport Avenue, in Chicago, Illinois.
Parking near the Music Box Theatre is limited. Meters are available on Southport Avenue. Free street parking is available on and west of Ashland Avenue and north of Irving Park. Both streets are just blocks from the cinema. More information on parking, as well as directions to the Music Box, is available on the venue’s website.
The Noir City theme this year is “Face the Music” – 19 movies featuring murder, crime, and musicians. The festival begins on Friday, September 4, and ends on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
The Film Noir Foundation presents “Noir City” at many different cities across the United States. FNF founder Eddie Muller will introduce the movies screening on September 4, 5, and 6. FNF board member Alan K. Rode will host movies screening on September 7, 8, 9, and 10.
